She studied a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Griffith University before securing jobs as an in-house designer for a wholesaler and a print company. In 2001 she started Turtle Creative and has been managing her own business ever since. Turtle Creative is a small design agency with the sole purpose to help small businesses grow, become noticed and get the best value for their advertising dollar.

“After 20 years I still love to create emotive designs that really get YOUR message across. I’m a big believer in following your passion in life. The saying ‘love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life’ is so true. I’ve always loved art and to create things, but I also enjoy helping people fulfill their passions. Working with people to create their passions, and bring them to life visually, brings me a lot fulfilment in what I do. This is why I’m very excited to be working with Cat, so we can both bring your stories to life.”

After earning a B.A. and M.A. at Rice University, I entered the publishing world in order to help authors find their literary voices. As an editor, I work closely with writers, publishers, and book coaches to sculpt rough drafts into promising manuscripts. My extensive experience across genres, technical knowledge of writing structure and mechanics, and attention to detail make me the perfect collaborator for emerging and experienced authors alike. In addition to my passion for editing, I teach Advanced Placement Literature to students earning university credit; my additional experience includes work as a theatre script reader, stage manager, and literary magazine editor.
